Hi! My name is Jade Perkins. 

I live in western New York. I’m married to my high school sweetheart, and we have two children ages 9 and 17. We live in an 1840 farmhouse that we have been working to restore. For every project we complete it seems we're gifted with four more, but it's a labor of love and an adventure we wouldn't trade. We are also able to enjoy some pretty spectacular views up and down the river valley that we’re situated in.

I’m family-oriented, a supporter and fan at all of our children’s events and can often be found at events for children that aren’t mine as well. I enjoy finding ways to stay active in our local community, not for any type of recognition but because I am drawn to helping people and receive genuine fulfillment from it. 

I also teach line dancing, which I find good for my soul. 

I have worked in administrative support roles for over 20 years, including government (both state and local level), private sector, my husband’s small business, and local youth organizations. I’m driven and self-motivated. I’ve earned a reputation for being dependable, trustworthy, dutiful and a problem solver, someone that can be counted on for pulling up my sleeves and rolling with the punches to get things done. My responsibilities have varied greatly over the years; however, writing composition, proofreading, research, compilation, data entry, and public relations have remained at the core.
